LAHORE (Dunya News) – Karachi Kings have officially renewed their Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise agreement, marking their continued presence in the league for the next ten years.
The deal was finalised based on the market valuation determined by EY Mina, the independent consulting firm.

Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), highlighted the franchise’s pivotal role in elevating the PSL’s prestige. He stated that Karachi Kings’ decision to extend their agreement is a testament to the league’s growing strength. Naqvi also commended Salman Iqbal and his team for their valuable contributions to the PSL.
Salman Naseer, CEO of the PSL, described working with Karachi Kings over the coming decade as an honour. He added that the franchise, which clinched the PSL title in 2020, remains the most popular among fans.
Lahore Qalandars extend PSL partnership for another 10 years
Karachi Kings follow the lead of other PSL franchises, including Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, and Quetta Gladiators, all of whom have renewed their ten-year agreements with the league.
The decision comes as the PSL prepares to expand its format from season 11 onwards to feature eight teams.
