(Dunya News) –Veteran Bollywood legend Dharmendra has passed away at 89, bringing an iconic chapter of Indian cinema to a close.

Earlier on November 24, videos circulating on social media showed an ambulance stationed outside his Mumbai home, once again igniting public concern over his health. His death has left fans, colleagues, and countless admirers mourning the loss of one of Bollywood’s most cherished stars. 

Often hailed as the He-Man of Bollywood, Dharmendra enjoyed an extraordinary career spanning over six decades.

He appeared in more than 250 films, earning acclaim for his versatility—effortlessly switching between intense action roles, heartfelt romantic characters, and memorable comedic performances. His legendary films such as Sholay, Phool Aur Patthar, Chupke Chupke, Satyakam, and Yaadon Ki Baaraat cemented his status as one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema.

His charisma, warmth, and timeless screen presence leave behind an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations of film lovers and artists.
