11,855 Afghan refugees return home from Pakistan and Iran

Data shows that there are approximately six million Afghan refugees worldwide, with a large portion being undocumented

KABUL (Web Desk) – The Afghan High Commission for Refugee Affairs has announced that on Saturday, a total of 11,855 people returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan and Iran.

According to the news agency, the commission stated that returning refugees are being provided with temporary shelter, food, water, medical facilities, and transportation services.

Data shows that there are approximately six million Afghan refugees worldwide, with a large portion being undocumented. The highest numbers of Afghan refugees are residing in Iran and Pakistan.
