LAHORE (Dunya News) – Despite government efforts, Punjab’s air quality remains poor, and Lahore has once again been ranked the world’s second most polluted city.
According to the Punjab Environment Department’s website, particulate matter in Lahore has been recorded at 414.
Air quality in other cities is also deteriorating—Khanewal recorded a particulate matter level of 412, Faisalabad 354, and Multan 342.
In the World Air Quality Index, Lahore has been ranked the second most polluted city with an AQI of 330. India’s capital, New Delhi, tops the list with a particulate matter level of 450.
