MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has allocated ministerial portfolios to members of the newly formed cabinet.
Senior Minister Mian Abdul Waheed has been appointed Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, while Sardar Javed Ayub will serve as Minister for Forests, Wildlife, Fisheries, and Muzaffarabad Development Authority.
Chaudhry Qasim Majeed has been assigned the Finance and Inland Revenue portfolio. Syed Bazail Ali Naqvi has assumed charge as Minister for Public Health and Population Welfare.
Diwan Ali Chughtai has been named Minister for School Education, and Javed Iqbal Budhanvi will serve as Minister for Food. Sardar Zia-ul-Qamar has been appointed Minister for Communication and Public Works.
Additionally, Chaudhry Arshad Hussain has been given the Energy and Water Resources portfolio, Zafar Iqbal Malik the Colleges Department, Sardar Muhammad Hussain the Zakat and Ushr Department, and Chaudhry Ali Shan Soni the Agriculture and Livestock ministry.
Chaudhry Ikhlaq has been assigned the Revenue Department, Aamir Yasin the Local Government and Rural Development Department, and Chaudhry Yasir Sultan the Physical Planning and Housing.
Similarly, Chaudhry Muhammad Rasheed has been appointed to the Power Development, Rafique Nayar to Religious Affairs and Auqaf, Faheem Rabbani to Tourism, and Nabeela Ayub as Minister for Kashmir Cause.
Moreover, Ahmed Sagheer has been appointed Advisor for Sports, Youth and Culture, while Fahad Yaqub has been named Advisor for Industries and Commerce.
