BRUSSELS (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday met European Commission’s Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner during his visit to Brussels.
The meeting focused on strengthening the framework for the legal migration of skilled workers.
Both sides discussed facilitating workforce mobility through the EU’s Talent Partnership window, aimed at creating streamlined opportunities for Pakistani professionals seeking legal migration to Europe.

They underscored the growing cooperation between Pakistan and the European Union in addressing challenges related to migration and labour mobility.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding joint efforts on matters of mutual interest, including the organisation of migration flows and the enhancement of opportunities for skilled workers.
The meeting concluded with a renewed resolve to regulate migration effectively and broaden pathways for Pakistan’s skilled workforce in EU member states.
