BRUSSELS (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Brussels on a three-day official visit at the special invitation of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas.
At Brussels International Airport, he was warmly received by Foreign Secretary Amina Baloch, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the EU, Belgium and Luxembourg Rahim Hayat Qureshi, and officials of the Embassy of Pakistan in Belgium.
During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister will co-chair the 7th Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue in Brussels.
He will also participate in the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum.
The deputy prime minister will attend a session on “Maritime Security” in Brussels as well.
On the sidelines of the forum, Senator Ishaq Dar is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of various countries.
The DPM/FM’s visit to Brussels is expected to serve as an important milestone in further strengthening Pakistan-EU relations.
