'I wish to live for 250 years,' Shah Rukh Khan's old clip goes viral

MUMBAI (Dunya News) - Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has once again taken social media by storm after a resurfaced video showed him expressing a playful wish to live for 250 years.

An old clip is making rounds online featuring Shah Rukh in conversation with director and choreographer Farah Khan. In that interview, the actor confidently spoken about his enduring stardom.

In the resurfaced video, the host had asked him whether his stardom would ever fade. Shah Rukh confidently replied at the time that he would remain a star for the next 100 years.

Reacting to the renewed attention on the clip, Farah commented that Shah Rukh had spoken those words with such conviction that “it feels like whatever he says in his own language eventually comes true.”

Responding to her remark, Shah Rukh referenced the manifestation theme from his 2007 film Om Shanti Om. He said, “I make every wish like an innocent child. Even though I know I’m 60 now, I still believe in expressing my desires with purity and having faith that they will come true.”

To explain his mindset further, Shah Rukh added, “If someone asks me how long I will live, I simply say—at least 200 to 250 years.”
