MOSCOW (Shahid Ghuman) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan is committed to establishing genuine economic connectivity in the region, adding that sustainable development is tied to peace and stability.
Addressing the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting in Moscow, Dar presented Pakistan’s comprehensive vision for regional economic cooperation, development, and stability.

He highlighted the importance of connectivity, infrastructure, transport, and logistics within the region, while welcoming the SCO’s efforts in energy, digital economy, science and technology, education, and vocational training.
Dar reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to build meaningful economic linkages across the region.
He also stressed the need to address poverty, socio-economic challenges, and climate-related issues, saying that sustainable development depends on regional peace and stability.
