ISLAMABAD (APP) - Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a traffic advisory for the ongoing Tri-Nations Cricket Series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where team movements will take place between Islamabad and Rawalpindi stadium.
An ITP official said on Tuesday that diversions will be placed on Srinagar Highway, Club Road, and 9th Avenue during team movement, especially in peak hours.
He said that traffic flow on these routes may slow down temporarily due to security arrangements and advised citizens to plan their travel with an additional 15–20 minutes to avoid delays.
The official added that ITP is making every effort to minimise inconvenience to commuters and will continue to provide real-time traffic updates through Islamabad Police’s social media platforms and FM 92.4.
He urged citizens to cooperate with the traffic staff, follow lane discipline and remain patient during temporary closures.
