10 outlaws apprehended in Kasur crackdowns

Drugs, bikes, liquor and weapons seized from them

KASUR (Dunya News) – Police on Sunday night claimed to have tracked down 10 hardcore criminals in crackdowns on drug peddlers, robbers and thieves in different areas of the city.

The crackdowns were launched on the directives of DPO Muhammad Esa Khan. B-Division police arrested five criminals with charas, liquor, and arms. They have been identified as Sarfraz, Ashfaq, Afzal and Iqbal.

In a search operation, police arrested three bike thieves. They were identified as Shahzad, Abid and Ilyas. Three bikes have been seized from them. In another incident, police apprehended two suspected robbers. They were identifies as Sarfraz and Ahsan. They were involved in many cases of crimes.

ROBBER INJURED

DEPALPUR: A suspected bandit was injured in an exchange of fire with police in Depalpur. He was involved in 24 cases of heinous crimes.

He and his accomplices opened fire on police. Police retaliated and successfully engaged them. One of the robbers received injuries from the firing of his own accomplices. Later, police arrested him in injured condition. He was identified as Zafar Iqbal. He committed robberies in Okra and Lahore.
