Pakistani batter Mehran Ali sets a world record scoring 230 runs in blind women’s cricket.

COLOMBO (Dunya News) – Pakistani batter Mehreen Ali has made history in blind women’s cricket by setting a new world record.

In the opening match of the tournament held in Colombo, the Pakistan Blind Women’s Cricket Team posted a commanding total of 331 runs without losing a wicket against Sri Lanka.

Mehreen Ali scored a staggering 230 runs off just 78 balls, setting a new global record in blind women’s cricket. In response, the Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 120 runs, giving Pakistan a massive 221-run victory.

The national team’s bowlers – Noor Fatima, Huriya Malik, and Samira Malik – showcased excellent performances, each taking a wicket.

Speaking after the match, Mehreen Ali expressed her gratitude, saying, “I thank Allah for helping me achieve this record. I dedicate this achievement to Pakistan, my parents, and the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council for giving me this opportunity.”
