Blaze at Peshawar's Lady Reading Hospital brought under control

Rescue officials said that four fire brigade vehicles, two ambulances, and 20 personnel from Rescue 1122 took part in the firefighting operation

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The fire that broke out in the basement of the Outpatient Department (OPD) at Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar on Friday has been brought under control.

According to rescue officials, the initial cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit. He said that smoke ejectors were used to clear the smoke. No casualty was reported in the incident.

They said that four fire brigade vehicles, two ambulances, and 20 personnel from Rescue 1122 took part in the firefighting operation. The fire was brought under control through timely action, they said.
