ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Four members of Fitna-al-Khawarij, involved in the Islamabad Judicial Complex suicide attack, arrested on Friday.
According to details, the arrests were made in a joint operation by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).
During the investigation, Sajidullah alias “Sheena”, the handler of the suicide bomber, confessed that TTP/Fitna-al-Khawarij commander Saeed-ur-Rehman alias Dadullah, based in Chermang, Bajaur and currently in Afghanistan, instructed him via Telegram to carry out the suicide attack in Islamabad to inflict maximum damage on law enforcement agencies.
Dadullah reportedly sent photos of the suicide bomber, Usman alias “Qari”, to Sajidullah so he could receive and handle him in Pakistan. Usman, a resident of Achin, Nangarhar, Afghanistan, belonged to the Shinwari tribe. Upon his arrival in Pakistan, Sajidullah arranged his stay in the outskirts of Islamabad.
