KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two people were killed and as many injured when two motorcyclists opened fire on them in Korangi Zaman Park here on Tuesday, with police suspecting that the double murder was the outcome of targeted killing.
The deceased have been identified as Ilyas and Noor Nabi, who belonged to a political party and Noor Nabi had a criminal history.
The assailants targeted them in darkness due to power shutdown. Having being informed, police rushed to the crime scene and collected forensic evidence and shells.
Law enforcers registered a case and started a manhunt for the fleeing outlaws. The targeted killings spread panic in the area, with people believing targeted killing incidents have revisited the city.
