LAHORE (Dunya News) – Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar has issued a notification announcing the transfer and posting of five senior officers.
According to the notification, District Police Officer (DPO) of Layyah, Ali Waseem, has been appointed as DPO Dera Ghazi Khan, while Captain (R) Tariq Vilayat, the outgoing DPO Dera Ghazi Khan, has been posted as SSP Research and Analysis, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab.
AIG Welfare Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi has been assigned additional charge of DPO Mandi Bahauddin, whereas DPO Mandi Bahauddin Waseem Riaz has been appointed as AIG Information Technology at the Central Police Office (CPO).
Meanwhile, SP Investigation Dera Ghazi Khan Shamsuddin has been given the additional charge of DPO Layyah.
It is noteworthy that these transfers aim to enhance police efficiency and ensure optimal utilization of officers’ capabilities across the province.
