QUETTA (Dunya News) - A government delegation comprising the Chief Minister of Balochistan and some federal ministers met with the head of the National Party to discuss the 27th Constitutional Amendment.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, along with Prime Minister’s Special Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah and other federal ministers, arrived in Turbat, where the delegation held a meeting with Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, the head of the National Party and a member of the provincial assembly.
According to sources, the meeting focused on discussions related to the 27th Constitutional Amendment and the overall political situation in the country. The delegation also sought Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch’s support for the 27th Amendment.
It is pertinent to mention here that the 27th Constitutional Amendment is scheduled to be presented in the Senate today (Monday), and the government sources have claimed that they have the required two-thirds majority in the upper house of the parliament.
