HONG KONG (Web Desk) – Pakistan defeated Australia in a nail biting semi-final by one run and qualified for the final of the Hong Kong Sixes.
In the first semi-final, Australia won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. The Green Shirts scored 121 runs for the loss of two wickets in the allotted six overs. Khawaja Nafay scored 50 before retiring, while Abdul Samad made 34 and captain Abbas Afridi added 19 runs.
For Australia, Alex Rose took two wickets.
Australia managed to score 120 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their quota of overs. Chris Green scored 46, while captain Alex Rose contributed 36 runs.
Shahid Aziz, Mohammad Shehzad, and Abbas Afridi took one wicket each.
