Seven arrested in Kasur police action against drug smugglers

Police recovered white crystal heroin, drone, batteries worth millions from the arrested drug smugglers

KASUR (Dunya News) – Seven alleged outlaws were arrested in a police action against drug smugglers and bootleggers here on Thursday night.

Police recovered white crystal heroin worth Rs10 million, a modern drone worth Rs5 million, and batteries worth Rs2.8 million from the arrested drug smugglers.

On the instructions of DPO Muhammad Isa Khan, SHO, B-Division, Muhammad Aslam Bhatti along with his team conducted a major operation. The accused have been identified as Ramzan alias Jani, Irfan of Rohiwal and Ayaz of Model Town, Lahore, Irfan, Latif, Shadab and Shahzeb.

Police claimed said the accused were notorious for supplying drugs to border areas. Separate cases have been registered against them under the provisions of the Narcotics Control Act. Police also seized 95 bottles of liquor from the arrested accused.
