Pakistan’s Mohammad Sajjad exits the IBSF World Snooker Championship in Doha after a 4-2 defeat to American cueist Andy McCloskey

DOHA (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s Mohammad Sajjad has been eliminated from the IBSF World Snooker Championship in Doha after losing to American cueist Andy McCloskey by four frames to two in the Round of 32.

Sajjad, who had directly qualified for the knockout stage, faced a tough contest at the championship being held in the Qatari capital. Despite a strong start to his campaign, he failed to maintain momentum against McCloskey, who dominated key moments of the match.

The American player clinched the match with frame scores of 71-41, 1-80, 45-11, 71-11, 40-79, and 73-35, sealing his passage to the next round.

Earlier, Mohammad Sajjad had secured an impressive 4-0 victory over the UAE’s Abdullah Al Attar in his opening Stage One encounter, showing fine form and composure. However, his campaign came to an abrupt end following his loss to McCloskey.

The IBSF World Snooker Championship has brought together top cueists from around the world, with several thrilling encounters taking place as the tournament advances towards its final stages in Doha.
