Haris Rauf handed two-match ban for code of conduct breach in Asia Cup

(Web Desk) - The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced penalties following hearings conducted during the Asia Cup.

According to the ICC statement, Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf, batter Sahibzada Farhan, and India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav have been found guilty of violating the ICC Code of Conduct.

Haris Rauf has been handed a two-match suspension, fined 30 percent of his match fee, and awarded two demerit points. The ICC further explained that Rauf accumulated four demerit points within 24 months, resulting in two suspension points that led to his ban.

Meanwhile, Sahibzada Farhan has received an official warning along with one demerit point, and Suryakumar Yadav has been fined 30 percent of his match fee and given two demerit points.
