22 areas in Liaquatpur declared calamity-hit after recent floods

According to the Disaster Management Department, relief and rehabilitation efforts are being expedited to compensate for losses and assist affected residents

LIAQUATPUR (Dunya News) – Following the devastation caused by recent floods, 22 localities have been officially declared calamity-hit areas.

The Punjab Board of Revenue and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) have issued a notification listing the affected areas, including Bait Sui, Bait Allah Wasaya, Bait Dewan, Bait Parara, Bait Bhutto, Bait Imam Bakhsh Machhi, Bait Baloch, Bait Ahmed, Bait Bhatar, and Chakkar Noorwala.

Other declared calamity-hit areas are Tayyab Baloch, Ghafoorabad, Raqba Pir Mohsin Shah, Chak Jandodaya, Hayat Machhi, Mad Dolat Shah, Noorwala, Fakharabad, Tibi Jhullan, Bannah Rohiya, Bakhsho Bhatar, and Jhok Gulab Shah.
