ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the session of the National Assembly on Wednesday, November 5 at 5:00pm in the Parliament House, Islamabad, Dunya News reported.
According to press release issued here by the National Assembly Secretariat, the President has convened the session in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq called meeting of parliamentary leaders at Parliament House, Islamabad on Wednesday to discuss and finalize agenda for National Assembly session.
The purpose of this meeting is to consult parliamentary leaders regarding the proceedings of the National Assembly’s 21st session, including the formulation of the agenda, the duration of the session, and matters related to maintaining order in the House.
