KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold and silver prices recorded a significant decline across Pakistan on Saturday, following a downward trend in the international bullion market.
According to data from local sarafa (bullion) markets, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,600 per tola, settling at Rs422,562. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,372, reaching Rs362,278.
In line with the gold trend, 24-karat silver also became cheaper, dropping by Rs65 per tola to Rs5,127.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices slid by $16 per ounce, bringing the new rate to $4,002 per ounce.
Traders attributed the fall to global market corrections and a stronger dollar, which collectively influenced precious metal rates in Pakistan’s domestic markets.
