ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has strongly rejected the baseless propaganda by an Indian television channel, which falsely claimed that Pakistan is preparing to send 20,000 troops to Gaza under the supervision of Western countries and Israel.
The Indian Republic TV further made the absurd allegation that Pakistan had removed the "non-use for Israel" clause from its passports.
Earlier, in a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was clarified that Pakistan has never recognized Israel and no military cooperation with Israel is under consideration. The statement emphasized that the clause on Pakistani passports that states they are "non-use for Israel" remains intact, with no changes made to it.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports reiterated that Pakistani passports continue to be valid for all countries except Israel, as per the original policy.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting condemned the Indian channel's false narrative, categorizing it as part of a larger campaign to spread malicious and fabricated stories about Pakistan.
It reaffirmed that Pakistan’s position on Israel is clear and consistent: the country has never recognized Israel and continues to stand firmly in support of Palestinian self-determination.
The Ministry further emphasized that spreading such unfounded and concocted stories through "godi media" is a tactic frequently used to undermine Pakistan's stance on key international issues.
Pakistan remains resolute in its support for the Palestinian cause and its principled position on the matter.
