ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Minister of State for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik on Wednesday said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is motivated by a person who is in jail.
Barrister Aqeel Malik stated that the Chief Minister must follow the Constitution and the law, rather than showing loyalty to the founder of a political party.
The Constitution does not allow a convicted criminal to interfere in government affairs. He urged Sohail Afridi to immediately fulfill his constitutional responsibilities regarding the formation of the cabinet.
Barrister Aqeel Malik added that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is violating his oath. “Sohail Afridi has set a prime example of stubbornness. He should focus on the welfare and well-being of the public,” he said.
