LAHORE (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed special vigilance to ensure the transportation of petroleum products without any interruption in view of the flood situation in different parts of the country.
He was talking to Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, who called on him in Lahore on Sunday.
The prime minister was briefed about the ongoing projects and reforms in the energy sector.
Meanwhile, a detailed discussion was held related to the country's energy situation and matters pertaining to the political situation of the country also came under discussion.
Besides, consultation was made regarding the party' matters and future course of action in the meeting.

Earlier, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) sounded alarm over the risk of urban flooding in Islamabad and northern Punjab.
According to a NEOC alert, regions likely to be impacted include Murree, Galiyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and surrounding areas.
The authorities have also flagged the possibility of landslides in hilly terrain, damage to vulnerable infrastructure, and widespread power outages.
Residents are strongly advised to avoid standing near trees or unstable structures, park vehicles in secure locations, and refrain from unnecessary travel during the peak rainfall period.
