ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu will undertake an official visit to Pakistan from September 8 to 9, accompanied by a 13-member high-level delegation.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the visit comes ahead of the expected trip of the Kazakh President to Pakistan later this year in November. The Kazakh Minister of Transport will also be part of the delegation.
During the visit, meetings of joint working groups on agriculture and IT will be held. Deputy PM Nurtleu will meet his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar in a one-on-one session, followed by delegation-level talks. He will also call on Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister.
The discussions will review preparations for the Kazakh President’s upcoming visit and cover all aspects of Pakistan-Kazakhstan cooperation, with a focus on trade, investment, agriculture, education, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
The Foreign Office spokesperson said that regional connectivity, logistics, and cooperation at multilateral forums will also be on the agenda, adding that the visit will further strengthen Pakistan-Kazakhstan ties and deepen bilateral relations for the welfare of the people.
