LAHORE (Dunya News) - Flood situation persists in Ravi, Chenab and Sutlej as PDMA and other departments on Saturday released data pertaining to water situation the rivers
Flood Forecasting Division Lahore has confirmed high level of flood in Ravi River. The water flow has increased to 157,000 cusecs at Head Baloki, whereas a high level flood at Head Sadhanai has been reported. The water flow at Head Sadhanai is 110,225 cusecs and there is a medium level flood at Head Sulemanki and Head
Sutlej River continues at the site of Head to be in high flood level. According to the Flood Forecasting Division, the water flow at Head Sulemanki is one lakh and 32 thousand. According to the report, a rapid increase in the water level is also being seen at other places of the Sutlej River. The inflow and outflow of water at Head Sulaimanki is 1 lakh 32 thousand 916 cusecs while the flow of water in Jamlera near Burewala has reached 160 thousand cusecs.
Similarly, 1 lakh 3 thousand 465 cusecs of water was recorded at Head Islam and 93 thousand 343 cusecs of water at Melsi Head Siphon.
The situation in Chenab River is also alarming. The flow of water has reached 448,000 cusecs at Chiniot, which is being termed as a high level flood.

On the other hand, low-level flooding has been reported at Guddu, Sukkur and Kotri barrages in the Indus River. The authorities have directed the administrations of the respective districts to remain alert and intensify security measures to deal with possible threats.
WATER SITUATION AT BARRAGES IN SINDH
According to the Sindh Information Department, the upstream water inflow at Guddu Barrage was 360,976 cusecs while the downstream water discharge was recorded at 325,046 cusecs.
At Sukkur barrage, upstream water inflow was 329648 cusecs while downstream water discharge was recorded at 278398 cusecs. At Kotri barrage, upstream inflow of 237922 cusecs and downstream discharge of 215567 cusecs has been recorded.
Current inflow and outflow of water at Trimam is 375,593 cusecs. The inflow and outflow of water at Panjand upstream has been recorded as 206439 cusecs.
