KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh Rain and Flood Emergency Monitoring Cell has released the latest figures on water inflows and outflows in the province’s rivers and barrages.
According to the Sindh Irrigation Department, water inflow at Guddu Barrage at the upstream is recorded at 357,196 cusecs, while the outflow at the downstream is 337,746 cusecs.
At Sukkur Barrage, upstream inflow is 302,270 cusecs, and downstream outflow is 245,220 cusecs. At Kotri Barrage, the upstream inflow remains at 251,558 cusecs, with a downstream outflow of 222,553 cusecs.
After a decrease in water flow at Trimmu, both inflow and outflow stand at 275,263 cusecs. At Panjnad, the upstream inflow is 159,662 cusecs, and the outflow is 149,862 cusecs.
According to the Sindh Information Department, the flood situation in Sindh is being closely monitored, and all relevant institutions are fully prepared to take necessary actions.
