JHANG (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Army, in collaboration with the civil administration, is actively carrying out rescue and relief operations across flood-affected areas of Punjab.
Hundreds of people have been successfully evacuated to safer locations as floodwaters continue to pose serious threats in several regions.
Rescue sources confirmed that operations are ongoing around Khoolra Point, Hasu Wali, Budhwana, Jhang, and Chiniot.
Army personnel used boats to evacuate stranded families, including elderly individuals, women, and children. Livestock has also been safely relocated to higher ground.
In addition to rescue efforts, the Pakistan Army has set up relief camps in affected areas, where uninterrupted distribution of food, clothing, and medicine is underway.
Free medical camps have also been established, staffed by doctors and paramedical teams to provide immediate healthcare to those in need.
Authorities remain on high alert to respond to any further emergencies, while rescue and relief efforts are being carried out around the clock.
Flood victims have praised the Pakistan Army for its timely response, calling it a life-saving intervention during a time of crisis.
