(Web Desk) - Popular TikToker Samiya Hijab Jafri has come forward with alarming allegations of harassment, threats, and an attempted abduction.
She alleged that a young man from Lahore, identified as Hassan Zahid, attempted to abduct her. In a video message released on Instagram, Samiya stated that the man had been stalking her for nearly three months.
She claimed that he was continuously pressuring her to marry him.
Samiya explained that despite repeatedly rejecting his advances, he persisted with threats and intimidation.
He went as far as to warn her of dire consequences.
According to Samiya, the situation escalated one evening when Zahid allegedly arrived outside her home uninvited.
With her brother absent and her mother unwell, she went to answer the gate, where he reportedly snatched her mobile phone.
She claimed that when she attempted to retrieve the device, he forcibly dragged her towards his car and injured her in the process.
The frightening encounter was captured on CCTV footage, which she later shared online as evidence of the incident.
Samiya revealed that she suffered visible marks on her face from resisting the alleged abduction attempt.
She firmly stated that she did not want to suffer the same fate as her friend Sana Yousaf.
The 17-year-old TikToker was brutally murdered in Islamabad after refusing a marriage proposal from a man.
The TikToker also disclosed that the suspect had since been taken into custody and produced before the court.
However, she cautioned that the accused was actively pursuing bail, which could once again expose her to threats and violence.
The Islamabad Police have reportedly provided her with security while also moving forward with legal proceedings against Zahid.
