KOHISTAN (Dunya News) – At least three people were killed and eight other were wounded when a jeep plunged into a nullah near Kohistan on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the accident occurred in Kolai Palas near Koze Paro police station in District Kohistan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing three persons on the spot and injuring eight others.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. According to rescue sources, two of the injured were in critical condition.
Road accidents are quite common in Pakistan, making it one of the hazardous countries. Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
