ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has released its latest report detailing the devastating impact of rains and floods across Pakistan.
According to the report, at least 802 people have died and 1,088 have been injured due to torrential rains and flash floods since June 26.
The worst-hit region is Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 479 fatalities and 347 injuries have been reported.
In Punjab, 165 people lost their lives, with 584 injured.

Sindh recorded 57 deaths and 75 injuries, while Balochistan reported 24 deaths and 5 injuries.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 45 people died and an equal number were injured.
The report further stated that 24 people died in Azad Kashmir, with 29 injured, and 8 fatalities occurred in Islamabad, along with 3 injuries.
In addition to human losses, the report highlights significant material damage. A total of 7,465 houses have been damaged, while 5,584 livestock have perished in floodwaters.
NDMA continues to monitor the situation and coordinate relief efforts in affected areas.
