RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem Panjotha has said that the party’s founder has rejected the resignation of senior lawyer Salman Akram Raja as party secretary general.
Speaking outside Adiala Jail, Salman Akram Raja confirmed that Imran Khan did not accept his resignation and instead directed him to continue his work.
Raja also mentioned that a second meeting of PTI's political committee regarding election matters will be held later this evening.
He further clarified that Opposition Leader Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz remain active in handling their court cases, representing the party legally.

Additionally, he said that the name of Mahmood Khan Achakzai has once again been endorsed by the PTI founder for the National Assembly, and that the party’s political committee will proceed with election decisions based on Khan’s instructions.
