ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government has decided to convene the National Assembly session on September 1.
The Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has issued instructions to celebrate Rabi-ul-Awwal with full spirit. During the session, members of the assembly will deliver special speeches on blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal as it marks the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
An exhibition of calligraphy artworks will also be organised at the Parliament House, and a resolution honoring the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will be passed by the house.
Important national matters will also be discussed during the National Assembly session, and the opposition is expected to raise the issue of the convictions and arrests of its leaders.
