ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Patron-in-Chief of the United Business Group SM Tanveer has also become a proponent of creating new provinces in the country, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Speaking in the Dunya News programme “Tonight With Samar Abbas,” SM Tanveer said that he also support Mian Amir Mehmood’s proposal regarding creation of new provinces.
He stated that every division in the country has the potential to generate $5 billion in exports, and Pakistan’s total exports could reach $200 billion.
SM Tanveer added that India is out of the game now. He said that if the government stops giving subsidies and immediately lowers the interest rate, "we are ready to take the lead."
He further said that the entire NFC Award money should not just be spent in Lahore or Karachi, but also in places like Khanewal and Okara.
