SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Police on Tuesday night claimed to have arrested an alleged robber after an exchange of fire in B Section Police jurisdiction.
He was identified as Arif Hussain. His two accomplices managed to escape taking advantage of darkness.
Police got information that three robbers were planning to loot people in an area. With this information, police raided the area to track down them. To see the police approaching them, the outlaws opened, prompting the law enforcers to retaliate.
When the encounter ended, police searched the area and found a robber injured, who they arrested.
His two accomplices escaped, with police launched a manhunt for them. Arms, bullets and looted valuables have been seized from the arrested robber, who has been admitted to hospital for bullet injuries.
Police claimed that the arrested bandit was wanted in cases of robbery, theft, and encounters with police.
