ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif telephoned Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah today to discuss the situation after heavy rains and urban flooding in southern Sindh, especially Karachi.
He offered federal government's all out assistance to the Sindh government to deal with this emergency situation.
The Prime Minister directed the Chairman NDMA to remain in constant touch with the Sindh government and fully cooperate with them regarding their needs during the emergency situation.
The Prime Minister also directed the Chairman NDMA to remain fully prepared and provide awareness to the people regarding the expected rain in the southern districts of Sindh in the next one or two days.
Shehbaz Sharif said the federal government will provide all kinds of assistance to the Sindh government to deal with the emergency situation.
