ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Authorities have decided to launch a crackdown against illegally residing foreigners in the federal capital and four other districts to declare them “safe zones.”
The measures include compiling data of undocumented foreigners, blocking the issuance of mobile SIMs, and restricting property transactions by banning the sale of stamp papers to such individuals.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Deputy Commissioners of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Murree, and Haripur have been tasked with executing the plan.

The Chief Commissioner directed officials to devise a strategy to prevent the future resettlement of illegal foreigners and ensure comprehensive data collection, including their residences and other details.
To enforce the decision, data will be shared with FIA and NADRA. Strict action will also be taken against foreigners staying in homes or hotels without proper registration. Only those with valid visas will be allowed to stay, while violators will face legal action.
