ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Central President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Senator Aimal Wali Khan, on Sunday announced the postponement of the peace march due to the severe flooding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing the All Parties Conference (APC) in Islamabad, Aimal Wali Khan urged the federal government to immediately announce a relief package for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Aimal Wali also condemned the forced repatriation of Afghan refugees.
He questioned why the 18th Amendment is not being implemented. He called on the federal government to change its attitude toward Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
He said that we believe in dialogue, but no one is willing to listen to us. He expressed the hope that all political parties will find solutions to the country's problems through negotiations.
He further said that leaders of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party were also invited. Leaders from 19 political parties participated in the All Parties Conference. He mentioned that Barrister Gohar had assured his participation in the APC, but it is unclear why he did not attend.
