ISLAMABAD (Dunya news) – The government on Saturday extended the last date for Hajj applications by one day.
The ministry of religious affairs said nominated banks would accept applications till August 18. A total of 110,000 applications have been received over the last 12 days.
A spokesperson said that 7,000 seats are remaining in quota and one day has been extended on first come first serve basis. The acceptance of applications will come to an end upon the fulfillment of quota.
The ministry further stated that online-portal date would not be extended as its deadline remained at August 16 midnight.
