Fuel prices likely to be revised for next 15 days

Relevant authorities have estimated a decrease of Rs. 11.75 per liter in price of high-speed diesel

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In light of declining oil prices in the international market, adjustments in petroleum product prices are expected for the next 15 days starting from August 16.

Relevant authorities have estimated a decrease of Rs. 11.75 per liter in the price of high-speed diesel.

On the other hand, petrol prices may increase by Rs. 1.32 per liter, while the price of kerosene is expected to drop by Rs. 6.25 and light diesel oil by Rs. 7.11 per liter.

Following the International Energy Agency's forecast of an increased oil surplus this year and next, crude oil futures have fallen to a two-month low of $62.7 per barrel.

If these proposed changes are approved, the new price of high-speed diesel could decrease from Rs. 282.83 to Rs. 274.08 per liter.
