Low-level flood reported at Kalabagh Barrage: PDMA Punjab

A low-level flood has also been observed in Basanter Nullah of the Ravi River

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has reported a low-level flood in the Indus River at Kalabagh Barrage.

According to PDMA, water flow at Tarbela, Chashma, Taunsa, Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri barrages remains normal. Similarly, major points along the Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej, and Kabul rivers, as well as their connected streams, are also experiencing normal flow.

A low-level flood has also been observed in Basanter Nullah of the Ravi River. No water flow has been reported in the hill torrents and seasonal streams of Koh-e-Suleman and Dera Ghazi Khan Division.

PDMA further stated that Tarbela Dam is currently 96% full, with a water level of 1,546.00 feet, while Mangla Dam is 64% full, with a water level of 1,206.20 feet.
