ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Police have registered cases against 566 PTI workers and leaders in Karachi and Islamabad for alleged violence during their protests on Tuesday, Dunya News reported here on Wednesday.
The cases have been registered against 550 PTI workers in Karachi and 16 in Islamabad for allegedly disturbing peace and creating law and order situation.
The PTI had given a countrywide protest call to mark two years of imprisonment of party founder Imran Khan, who was put in jail for alleged corruption.

The workers and their leaders took out rallies and demanded the release of their leader, deeming his confinement as unjustifiable. In some places, the protesters scuffled with police in order to resist their arrests.
Ten cases were also registered in Lahore in connection with the PTI workers for allegedly resorting to violence during their protest.
