KOHISTAN (Dunya News) – The authority concerned has decided to freeze the assets of seven more accused involved in Rs40billion corruption scandal in Kohistan.
Approval for freezing the assets is being sought from National Accountability Bureau (NAB); after receiving approval, applications will be filed in an accountability court.
Among those whose assets are to be frozen are four men and three women. The accused whose assets are set to be frozen include Habibullah, Riaz, Naseer, Tauseef, and three women.

The main suspects allegedly acquired assets in the names of benami holders, and these seven also include such benami holders.
The accused have accumulated moveable and immoveable assets worth hundreds of millions of rupees.
In the Kohistan corruption scandal, NAB has already issued 32 asset-freezing orders. With these seven additional orders, the total number of freezing orders will rise to 39.
