New immigration counters established at major airports for foreign travellers

Returning Pakistanis will also benefit from faster, easier immigration processes

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has established separate immigration counters for foreign travellers at all international airports in Pakistan.

According to the FIA spokesperson, practical steps are underway to improve the immigration system on the directive of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. New counters have been set up at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, and Sialkot airports.

These counters will ensure foreign travellers face no unnecessary delays in immigration clearance, facilitating tourists, investors, and business delegations.

The initiative aims to promote tourism, trade, and foreign investment in Pakistan. Returning Pakistanis will also benefit from faster, easier immigration processes.

All international airports are ensuring top-tier immigration services, with measures aimed at aligning services with international standards.
