Hajj 2026: Applications open tomorrow on first-come, first-served basis

The first installment of Hajj dues will be collected from August 4 to 9

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that applications for Hajj 2026 will open tomorrow (Monday), August 4, on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to the ministry’s spokesperson, applicants can submit their forms through designated banks or the online portal.

The first installment of Hajj dues will be collected from August 4 to 9, while new applicants may apply from August 11 to 16 if seats remain available. Collection of dues will stop as soon as all seats are filled.

The Hajj 2026 package will range between Rs 1.15 million to Rs 1.25 million, inclusive of the sacrificial animal (Dam-e-Shukr). The second installment will be collected from November 1.

The ministry has removed the ban on repeat Hajj and lifted the age limit, but children born after March 1, 2014, are not eligible to apply.
