DUBLIN (Dunya News) - Ireland has announced its squad for the upcoming T20I series against the Pakistan Women’s team.
Gabby Lewis will captain the Ireland Women’s team, bringing her wealth of experience to the role, while Orla Prendergast has been appointed as the vice-captain, adding strategic depth to the leadership lineup.
The 15-member squad includes key players such as Amy Hunter, who is known for her explosive batting, and Laura Delany, a seasoned all-rounder expected to play a pivotal role. The team has been training rigorously at the YMCA Cricket Club in Dublin to prepare for the series.
The first match between Pakistan and Ireland Women’s teams will be played on August 6 at the picturesque Stormont Cricket Ground in Belfast, with a capacity crowd anticipated.
The second match is scheduled for August 8 at the same venue, followed by the decisive third match on August 10, also in Belfast.
All matches are set to begin at 3:00pm local time (7:00pm PKT), with live broadcasts planned across multiple sports channels.
