PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called a consultative meeting in Peshawar on July 31 to finalise its future protest strategy.
The meeting, convened by PTI’s central leadership, will be attended by the party chairman, secretary general, and other senior leaders. Sources revealed that the session will include a detailed discussion on all aspects of the party’s upcoming protest plans.
According to party insiders, PTI will decide whether to launch a protest march towards the federal capital, Islamabad, or to organise demonstrations at the provincial level.
The leadership will also review alternative protest options, with several senior members reportedly opposing another march toward Islamabad.
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, stated that final decisions regarding the protests will be made during the July 31 meeting.
